Eat Local Offers

Eat Local Offers

Eat Local offers are a special way to earn points when you support local restaurants. Whether you're grabbing tacos from the place around the corner or enjoying a cozy date night, you can earn points just by snapping your receipt.

How it Works

Eat Local offers are personalized based on your location. You’ll find eligible restaurants listed in the “Eat Local” shelf on your Discover page in the Fetch app.

Here’s how it works:

  • Dine at a restaurant participating in the Eat Local offers.
  • Pay using a valid credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover).
  • Snap your receipt like you normally would.
  • Earn points automatically. No clipping or activation required!

Location and Offer Visibility

Your location helps us show you the right local offers! Here's how it works:

With Location Services Turned ON

  • Fetch will automatically display eligible offers near you.
  • Offers may appear after refreshing or reopening the app when you change locations.

With Location Services Turned OFF

  • The app uses the location from your last snapped receipt.
  • If you haven’t snapped a receipt in your current location yet, no offers may appear until you do.

What’s Not Eligible for Points?

To ensure you earn points successfully, make sure your purchase meets these requirements:

Not Eligible If You Use:

  • Cash
  • Gift cards
  • eReceipts (digital order confirmations)
  • Third-party delivery apps (like DoorDash, UberEats, Grubhub)
  • Credit card rewards or restaurant-specific loyalty points

Also, make sure:

  • You’re using a valid credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, or Discover).
  • The restaurant is part of the Eat Local program.
  • You snap your physical receipt, and it clearly shows:
    • The restaurant’s name and address
    • Payment method and the last four digits of the card
    • Total (including tip!)

 Can’t See Eat Local Offers?

If you don’t see the “Eat Local” shelf or any offers:

  • You may be in an area where Eat Local isn’t available yet.
  • Your location services are turned off, and you haven’t snapped a receipt in your current area.
